Sinamay is a loosely handwoven fabric, made of abaca fibre, a 100% eco-friendly material, from the processed stalks of the Abaca tree, a banana palm native to the Philippines. Abaca fibre is 3X stronger than cotton and silk, and can last for over hundreds of years.
